Shop owners Cecil and Mattie opened Cocky Punk in 2020. The goal was to offer affordable lifestyle products to the LGBTQ community and their allies. The shop features inventory from many well known brands, but also has products from many other west coast entrepreneurs who are a part of the LGBTQ community.​
